Google Releases ‘Sites’ Product for Apps
Google just released a website building feature for all Apps users. It’s similar to Google Pages for standard Google accounts. AND it is the JotSpot replacement. This is a welcome addition to the Apps product.
From Google “Google Sites makes creating a team web site as easy as editing a document. You can quickly gather a variety of information in one place — including videos, calendars, presentations, attachments, and gadgets — and easily share it for viewing or editing with a small group, your entire organization, or the world.”
No html programming required and the hosting is included. There’s nothing more to do. You can even use the sites feature with your own domain. It requires a CNAME addition to your DNS records to work.
