Plugoo allows you to offer live chat support from your site without the need to set up a program like Crafty Syntax Live Help or pay for a service like Live Person.

I like the both the idea and the application of Plugoo. It all starts with the user interface of Plugoo’s website. This site is sqeaky clean, free of link clutter and graphic debris. Read a few words and you’re setting up a brand new Plugoo account.

The setup process is as easy as the site says. Choose your messenger, validate the account, accept the Plugoo buddy invitation, then install. You’re allowed to select the window color, font size, away message and a few other things before getting the code to publish on your site.

If you’re not sure where or how to publish the code Plugoo provides tutorials for Blogger, MySpace, OverBlog, CanalBlog, and Blogger Beta. Almost all your initial questions can be answered in the FAQ section of the site.

Plugoo is easy to use and boasts an elegant design. This is a widget worth using. You’ve got to try it to believe me.

The Plugoo project is currently open for Beta Testing only with no word on a future versions (paid or free) once it’s out of Beta.
